Hi I'm chelsea!
I'm Chelsea, an elopement and lifestyle photographer based out of Boulder, Colorado- but always have my suitcase on stand-by, ready to travel! Just over 4 years ago, I moved to Boulder on a 'solo soul-searching' journey. I met my now-fiance on my very first day in Colorado and ever since, we have enjoyed exploring every inch of this beautiful state together (with my camera in hand!). We LOVE location scouting over here so if you don't see a spot in my portfolio that you love, we will hunt down a beautiful Colorado mountain location for you. Intimate weddings, elopements, couples, engagement sessions, maternity & newborn are my specialties. Love is the most powerful thing on this planet and we are so lucky to experience it- and I'm here to help bottle up that spark forever. I want to capture you and your love(s) exactly as you are - in whatever phase of life you're currently enjoying. When we work together be prepared to get creative, a little messy, and maybe a little drunk (if you're into that sort of thing).

Growing up, i didn't plan on being a photographer
In fact, I wanted to be an art therapist...then a teacher...then a speech therapist...then a Spanish translator....the list goes on. However, once I started down the path to each of these unique careers, I realized nothing was truly sparking my interests. Until I picked up my first camera! After I invested in my first DSLR, I started playing around with portraits, landscapes, etc. I essentially brought this camera with me everywhere and quickly became enamored. After 5 years of practicing on friends, I decided to finally start my business!
If you hire me, please understand that I do not take my job lightly! You are not 'just another client' to me. You are now my friend and I am here to support you, hype you up, and capture whatever moments and memories you want. It is an honor to get to work with such incredible humans so know that I value your time and experience SO much!
I'm not the girl for everyone - my shoots are usually pretty goofy with no really formal posing. Candids are my favorite, too! I care the most about capturing YOU and freezing moments and feelings for you to look back on and remember exactly how you felt that day. If you want to get loose, have fun and remember a moment in time, I'm your girl!
